Facebook has heavily invested in turning its social networks into business platforms for companies, and the strategy has paid off. The problem for businesses now is managing all these channels and attending to online visitors and customers, which requires time and a lot of work.

With this in mind, Facebook has just announced the Pages Manager Inbox, a unified inbox that allows access to messages from Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram in one place.

This new feature unifies the management of all social networks, making it easier to manage corporate channels, streamlining workflows, and optimizing the time spent on these processes. Another advantage of this integration of social networks is the ease with which companies will be able to view customer or visitor profiles and interactions across all pages, enabling more personalized service.

In addition to enabling Inbox messaging, the new inbox also allows responding to comments on posts on Facebook and Instagram.

The goal is to enhance the experience for professionals using these networks and it is expected to be available globally in the coming weeks for all users utilizing the Pages Manager.

To use the Pages Manager Inbox, simply connect the Facebook and Instagram accounts by clicking on the message icon at the bottom of the page within the manager and then go to the Instagram tab and log in. For accounts already connected through ads, the update will be done automatically.

According to Facebook, this new feature arrives to cater to the “over five billion comments, messages, and posts from visitors combined each month,” benefiting more than four million business pages worldwide.
