Facebook Announces Single Inbox for Business Accounts on Messenger and Instagram

Facebook invested heavily in transforming its social media channels into business platforms for companies, and the strategy paid off. The challenge for companies now is managing all these channels and serving visitors and customers online, which requires time and a lot of effort.

With this in mind, Facebook has just announced Pages Manager Inbox, an inbox that allows you to access messages from Facebook, Messenger and Instagram in a single location.

This new feature unifies the management of all social networks, facilitating the management of corporate channels, streamlining workflows, and optimizing time spent on these processes. Another advantage of this social network integration is the ease with which companies can view customer or visitor profiles and interactions across all pages, enabling more personalized service.

Messenger and Instagram inbox integration

In addition to enabling the exchange of Inbox messages, the new inbox also allows you to reply to comments on Facebook and Instagram posts.

The goal is to improve the experience of professionals who use these networks and should be available globally, in the coming weeks, for all users who use the Pages Manager.

To use Pages Manager Inbox, simply connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts by clicking the messages icon at the bottom of the page within the manager, then go to the Instagram tab and log in. For accounts already connected via ads, the update will be done automatically.

According to Facebook, the new feature is designed to address the "more than five billion combined comments, messages and posts from visitors each month," benefiting more than four million business pages worldwide.
