You can use four different ad formats to promote your business on the Waze app. Each has its own unique characteristics, and only after carefully analyzing your objective can you determine which one is best suited for your campaign.

Pin
A pin is a marker for your establishment on the map displayed to the user, like a digital billboard. The main advantage of this type of ad is that it appears when the user is nearby or the establishment is on the driver's route. When clicking on the pin, in addition to more information about the establishment, the app offers the user the options to "Drive to location," "Save location," "Save offer," "Get coupon," and "Call now."

Takeover
Takeover is the app's most "traditional" ad format, appearing on the driver's screen when they come to a complete stop. It's configured to appear to your target audience, whether they're near the location or not, based on the targeting you define. Just like a pin, by clicking on a Takeover ad, the user can select the options "Drive to location," "Save location," "Save offer," "Get coupon," and "Call now."

Nearby locations arrow
The Arrows, in Portuguese called Nearby locations arrow, is displayed to the user when they open the app, indicating establishments near the driver's location. When the user clicks on the ad, the establishment's pin is displayed on the map and more information about the location is displayed; with a second click, the driver begins the route there.
Promoted Search
Promoting your brand in search means it will appear prominently at the top when users search for a nearby location. With one click, more information about the location is displayed; clicking again starts the trip. Similar to other ad formats, drivers can choose from the following actions: "Drive to location," "Save location," "Save deal," "Get coupon," and "Call now."
