According to a scientific study carried out by Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (monthly journal of the American Psychological Association), the act of helping someone can increase oxytocin levels in the body. For those unfamiliar, this hormone is known as the "love hormone," produced by the hypothalamus. Thus, we can understand the feeling of genuine well-being that helping others generates.
But that's not all. After all, when we help someone, we also promote well-being. And only then, with empathy and solidarity, can we build a better world. Doing good has transformative power, and with small gestures, we can change realities for the sake of a more equal and happy society.

And for those who are far away or don't have time to come to our agency to drop off their donation, no problem! Institutions already benefiting from Kaizen Social
Home of Friendship: institution located in the South Zone of Porto Alegre, serves the elderly, the blind and people with mild disabilities.
Gaucho Association of People with Multiple Sclerosis (Agapem): institution that helps people with multiple sclerosis and their families.
Educational Center for the Rehabilitation of Saint John the Baptist: located in the South Zone of Porto Alegre, it has been serving polio sufferers and people with multiple disabilities for over 80 years.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Association: An institution in the East Zone of Porto Alegre, it has been dedicated to the leisure, culture and education of children and teenagers in Vila Bom Jesus for 30 years.
Transform RS: Based in Canoas, it has 80 families registered to receive weekly donations. It also distributes meals daily in the municipality's communities.
